Fading Lenses Jun 27, 2007
I have bought Ray Ban sun glasses for the past 25 Years. I have had Wafers, Aviators, Flights and now the 3218. I take extra good care of my sun glasses. I paid $230.00 when they first came out. I notice that they have lost tint from the lenses. (Delamination)( Strange, I know. The lens is tinted except for the corners where it has turned clear. RB (Luxotica) is not lenient on fixing issues.

I also have a pair of Oakley Juliets that I paid >$400.00. I have had them for 12 Years and recently sent them back for service and new lenses for only $49.00.

RB does not give you prices or ballpark numbers. Send it and we will let you know, oh and by the way.... Add $12.50 for processing.

All in all, I love Ray Bans for work and when I am dresses nice, however my Juliets, are more rugged. I swim with them, exercise and they never have an issue.
